[BETTY SNAPS] A Lazy Girls Guide to Blogging... December 2012

December is always a wonderful month. I can hardly believe that it is over again for another year and we are back to January, which is by comparison a much more boring reserved one.

While December is gluttonous and party spirited, January is all about detoxes and life plans... my final month of 2012 was certainly gluttonous and certainly full of spirit.

I started partying on the first day of the month and didn't stop until the last. It was full of treats (including my Ciate calendar which provided a bit of excitement for every day) friends, family, Christmas drinks, festive festivities, charity fundraising, travel and love...

Here is my December through Instagram...

The most wonderful advent calendar with enough nail colours to keep me going until next December.... 24 doors opened and 24 nail effects revealed!

The first piece of Christmas cheer when we put up our little tree in the flat (recycled from last year with a touch of snow spray and some lights - just shows you don't always need to spend money on a new one!), organising another charity fundraiser at work with Save The Children's Christmas Jumper Day, shopping for Christmas party outfits, enjoying a 60's party with GB's family and channeling Twiggy as my style inspiration, donning my festive knit for Christmas Jumper Day and LOVING it!!

Hot drinks for cold days, getting into the mood with mince pies and mulled wine, snuggling up on cold evenings in my fleecy PJ's, getting the chance of a first look at new film The Life of Pi at Clapham Picture House.

A new do in time for the holidays, travelling to the Scottish Highlands for Crimbo and waking up to amazing views, old fashioned teapots and teacups in a country cottage, a quintessential six foot high tree for a quintessential Scottish Christmas, Christmas baking- more mince pies and chocolate truffles!

Some great Christmas presents including more Ciate to trial and a cake pop machine to give a go, dressing up the dogs for Christmas day, more great scenery and bringing in the new year with great friends and family!

I hope you all had an excellent holiday and Happy New Year!! I'll be doing a full round up post of 2012 soon but for now here's to 2013!
